 Ristorante degli Orti is named for its address in Vicolo Salita Degli Orti, just 50 metres from Piazza Santa Chiara, in the very heart of Assisi. Our family opened the restaurant in 1985 and now we children are continuing the art and culinary tradition handed down to us by our mother and our grandmothers, serving typical Umbria dishes, but with an innovative touch. When the weather is nice, we have tables outside, where you can enjoy your meal against the peaceful backdrop of one of Assisi’s quiet and quaint side streets, in the heart of town.  We have tried to create an ambience where everyone feels at home, the perfect place for families as well as travellers who want peace and quiet as they experience the spirituality of our town. We’re convinced that it’s important to consider our customers as guests in our home. Ours is a family-run restaurant with a focus on courtesy, and our guests can order à la carte or choose the set-price meal. Both menus feature traditional local dishes and the finest quality. |  |
